Description

You are buying APPROXIMATELY 30 KING TUT WHEAT TRITICUM SPP. SEEDS. This is an extremely rare, ancient variety of wheat that has been grown in the arid region of Ancient Egypt 3,000 years ago. 36 seeds were found in an Ancient Egyptian tomb in the 1940s and then seeds were propagated from those over time until now fresh seed can be sold today and you can grow history and enjoy wheat that is essentially the same as what the pharaohs of ancient Egypt ate! It can be grown year-round in low frost climates and has a production time from seed to harvest of around 90 days. In frost prone climates this is best sown 90 days before frosts begin to ensure that the crops have enough time to fully develop. This plant has edible grains that can be processed into wheat flour that has a much lower gluten content than traditional wheat. This makes it ideal for people who have issues with gluten or wish to have wheat products without as much gluten. This plant is very drought tolerant, but can handle extra water. It can handle light frosts. You will receive approximately 30 seeds. Contact me if you want any further details on this plant.

I can combine shipping with multiple orders.
